Lyn began her career as a teacher of early childhood education in low-income communities after graduating from the University of Wisconsin. She attended Tulane University School of Law, where she served as the notes and comments editor for the Tulane Law Review. She currently serves as the Associate Dean of Academic Affairs and is an award winning professor at the University of Tulsa College of Law. She was recognized as University of Tulsa’s Outstanding Professor in 2004-05 and was named an outstanding professor at the College of Law for eight of the last nine years. Her scholarship is primarily focused on capital punishment, constitutional law, and criminal law; she is the co-author of Capital Punishment and the Judicial Process, for which she won the University of Tulsa College of Law Outstanding Book Award in 2007. Lyn previously worked as a Law Clerk to United States magistrate Judge Bana Roberts and as a Senior Law Clerk to Judge Charles Chapel.

In his various roles,Justin has secured grants andraised over $7.5 million forTeach For America, and currently oversees a regionalbudget of nearly $10 million.Along with managing theOperations Team across the state, Justin oversees the TeachFor America Oklahoma CityInstitute, including its 100 staff members, which trains over 260teachers and reaches over 3,000students annually.
Coordinator of Tulsa Alliance for Engineering, Tulsa Community College
As the Coordinator of Tulsa Alliance for Engineering, Xan supports and initiates Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM) events for K-12 students in the Tulsa area and works to secure scholarships and internships to grow the pipeline of engineers in our community. Her work combines her passion, experience and expertise in engineering and education. After graduating from Texas Tech University, Xan spent the first seven years of her career as a Segment and Reservoir Engineer before becoming a teacher at Mingo Valley Christian School. In her eleven years at Mingo Valley, Xan taught math, physics, and pre-engineering to her middle and high school students. Xan was the recipient of the 2013 Engineering Education Outreach Award and the 2013 Tex Richardson Engineering and Science Guidance Award for her outstanding work in the community.

Doug is a founder and Chief Financial Officer of Best Well Services, an oilfield service provider which was recently named Oklahoma’s fastest growing company in the energy sector and one of the 1,200 fastest growing companies in America by Inc. Magazine. In seven years, Best Well Services has grown to a company that employs over 250 people across five cities and that has annual revenues of nearly $40 million. Doug has been involved with the Nicholas Club, a community service organization in Tulsa, previously serving as Board President. Doug was recently named to Oklahoma Magazine’s 2013 “40 under 40” list for his work with Best Well Services and in the community. Doug and his wife, Jdanna, have five children.
Chief Operating Officer, IMPACT! Tulsa
Monroe got his first glimpse into the world of public education after graduating from the University of Tulsa, when he assumed the role of Assistant to the Mayor for Community and Workforce Development. In three years working alongside Mayor Kathy Taylor, Monroe led a team to design and implement comprehensive plans to reduce juvenile violence. In doing so, he saw the need for stronger educational opportunities for all students; in response, he developed a Community Development, Education, and Public Safety Policy for the city. In subsequent years, Monroe has spent time delving deeper into education and economic development, serving as the Chief of Staff to the President of the University of Oklahoma – Tulsa. He has also worked as the Economic Development, Business, and Industry Services Agent for the Oklahoma Development of Career and Technology Education, with direct responsibility for administering $3.5 million in state funding and 57 Career Tech campuses. As the Director of Business Retention and Expansion for the Tulsa Regional Chamber of Commerce, Monroe managed a portfolio of over 700 companies in the Tulsa region. Most recently, Monroe served as the Campaign Manager for Taylor for Tulsa, leading former Mayor Kathy Taylor’s campaign for reelection. In recognition of his accomplishments and his contribution to the community, Monroe was named to Oklahoma Magazine’s 2009 “40 under 40” list.
Project Superintendent and Business Development Specialist, Manhattan Construction Company
Gregory, an Oklahoma Magazine 2011 “40 under 40” honoree, has long been deeply involved in building a strong future for Tulsa. As a project superintendent, Gregory is currently leading the $330 million River Spirit Casino Resort‐Margaritaville Phase II Expansion. Gregory has previously managed projects totaling almost $600 million and has had the honor of working on three “Vision 2025” projects: the BOK Center, the Oklahoma Jazz Hall of Fame, and the Morton Comprehensive Health Care Center. More recently, he has built the OU Wayman Tisdale Health Specialty Center in North Tulsa and Creekwood Elementary and Early Childhood Development Center in Broken Arrow. Gregory is deeply committed to the community, serving as a Board Member for the Oklahoma Center for Community and Justice (OCCJ). He is also an Executive Board Member for the Oklahoma Chapter of the Alzheimer’s Association of America, serving as the Board Secretary and Development and Fundraising Chair. Gregory and his wife have three children who attend Tulsa Public Schools.
Program Officer, Tulsa Community Foundation
Upon graduation from Gonzaga with a Bachelor’s Degree in English, Elizabeth matriculated to the University of Notre Dame to study education. After earning her Masters of Education, Elizabeth joined the Alliance for Catholic Education (ACE). ACE selects highly talented graduates from the University of Notre Dame, equipping them to be teachers in low‐income schools across the country. Elizabeth spent five years teaching language arts, reading, Spanish, math and science to 4th and 5th grade students in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Elizabeth wrote and won a $50,000 grant to create the Director of Development position for three low‐income elementary schools, and served as the Director of Development for two years. As the Director of Development, Elizabeth conducted teacher professional development for the implementation of new reading and writing curriculum and fundraised $500,000 for building improvements, scholarships, and curriculum programs. Elizabeth currently serves as a Program Officer at the Tulsa Community Foundation, where she works with donors to match their charitable interests with the needs of the Tulsa community.
